KitchenThe Doyle Dispatch – Kitchen After

Kitchen Before:

The Flood:

Kitchen After:

The Details:

I love how the wall color matches the granite perfectly. We went through about 80 paint chips to find the perfect color.

I love my French door fridge!

Deep single sink = perfection

Every kitchen needs an instant boiling water dispenser.

I love the sink area.

A close-up of my bird curtain:

One last sink obsession: my hands-free soap dispenser

Our kidney pull-out shelves to access all of our pots and pans. Thanks, Old River!

And our built-in Lazy Susan in the corner cabinet:

We found these organizers at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They are perfect for our plates:

The eat-in kitchen. The table is from Bassett, but we got it for a steal ($200!) from Craigslist. It sells for about $2,000 brand new!

The ceiling light and my curtains that I made during one Spring Break.

Our alphabet photography “Doyle” sign that I made when we got married. These are all pictures from the school where I teach.

Pottery Barn calendar:

A collage from our wedding (did you notice that they are all food-related?):

Thanks to a co-worker, we got this great idea to organize our pantry. I love it! So easy!

Love that pot holder!!! And the countertops are beautiful!

    • Dory says:

Thanks, Leanne! I have warned Tim that if we ever leave our home, I demand that we either take the countertops with us or we immediately remodel our kitchen to have the exact counters. We were warned about having light granite countertops, but they have been a dream! I loved our granite shopping experience, and I wish I could have different granite in every room.
