Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

For two years now, my brother has participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Stagedoor Manor. Both years, Josh has been a featured dancer, which means major camera time!

In 2011, they opened up the entire parade with their number, “Join Our Parade.”

At the end of the parade, they also walked down the route with Santa, so they were seen at the very end.

This year, Stagedoor Manor was again asked to perform (this was year 4 for the camp), but this time as the finale with Santa himself! They performed a song from the workshop version of “Yes, Virginia” called “Santa By the Book.”

Josh was seen SOOO much in this video. I am so proud of my “baby” brother!

My mom was so proud too (of course!). She recorded this one that focused on Josh as the “star.”

A snapshot of the couples dancing. Josh is the blond boy in the red pants.

Josh has great balance!

What a great entry of the week of Thanksgiving at Macy’s Parade. Josh was in rehearsal Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving Week, from 9- 6 each day. It was a wonderful week.
