Well, it is hard to believe that here it is, the first day of November. There is a chill in the air and the smell of firewood all around. We are officially in my favorite month of all: November. November is a time to reflect, to sit back and enjoy family, and to think of what we are thankful for. Cliche? Sure, but it is true.
We have had so many stresses in our lives over the past few months that it is easy to get overwhelmed with the little details that just eat at us each day. I am especially guilty of this (Tim calls it being a perfectionist, I call it “Type A Personality”). This month, I am going to make both of us (sorry, Tim!) actually type out and post something that we are thankful for each day. Get ready!
Day 1: After seeing the devastation up and down the East Coast this week, we are thankful for our home: our wonderful, quirky, comfortable home. Yes, we have things that we would like to change, but it is a good house.
